Basic Spaghetti
Sauté ground Turkey and ground Italian sausage, remove meat and deglaze pan with a “dry” red wine (the dryer the less sweet), add celery, yellow & green bell peppers, fresh garlic, white onions, black pepper, and salt to pan and sauté vegetables. Return meat to pan with sautéed vegetables, add fresh tomatoes (seeds removed)… simmer 20 minutes… add boiled spaghetti that has been “shocked” and drained. Let rest for 15 minutes and serve.
“Shocking” is hitting something with cold water to “stop” the cooking process.
